Lash Lift in Kent and East Sussex

(LVL) Lift, Volume, Length

If you are looking for a low-maintenance lash treatment with incredible results, an LVL lash lift treatment is for you! I’m a qualified lash technician with a studio in Kent.

You may have heard celebrities enthusing about the LVL lash lift treatment – actress Michelle Keegan, TV presenter Katie Piper, singer Jessie Ware and makeup artist to the stars, Lisa Eldridge amongst others.

Now you, too, can have stunning eyelashes.  This popular lash lift treatment sees clients travelling to see me from Kent, Hastings, Rye, Bexhill, Battle and across East Sussex.

LVL is a 1 hour – 1 hour 15 mins treatment which lifts the lashes from the root and incorporates a top and bottom lash tint to give the appearance of thicker, longer lashes. It lasts 6-8 weeks with the correct aftercare. LVL is a cruelty free, but not a vegan, treatment.

Whereas a lash perm curls the entire lash, creating a soft curl across the whole length of the eye lashes, LVL lifts the lashes directly from the root. This results in a more upright curl and thus a more dramatic effect. Different levels of curl are available depending on the look you are seeking to create as well as the natural length and thickness of your lashes, and I am happy to recommend what is best suited to you.

Now you, too, can have stunning eyelashes.  This popular lash lift treatment sees clients travelling to see me from Kent, Hastings, Rye, Bexhill, Battle and across East Sussex.

I have been having my eyelashes tinted for years now, but recently the tint has only been lasting a few weeks, so I thought I’d give an LVL lash lift a go. The treatment itself was relaxing and painless and it was a lovely touch including a hand and arm massage - I felt really pampered. My lashes look stunning and I have had loads of compliments from friends who I have referred straight to Penny. I just hope she doesn’t get too busy to fit me in!

The lash lift treatment

An LVL lash lift is a 1 hour treatment. LVL lifts the lashes from the root. It also incorporates a top and bottom lash tint to give the appearance of thicker, longer lashes. The lash lift lasts 6-8 weeks with the correct aftercare – I highly recommend the use of a conditioning lash serum (available from me at the time of your treatment) to keep your lashes in beautiful condition.

Just imagine, no more lash curlers, no more mascara and a wide awake look in the mornings. Together with the fact that LVL is a cruelty-free treatment, what more could you ask for?

Whereas a lash perm curls the entire lash, creating a soft curl across the whole length of the eye lashes, LVL lifts the lashes directly from the root. This results in a more upright curl and thus a more dramatic effect. Different levels of curl are available depending on the look you are seeking to create, as well as the natural length and thickness of your lashes. As an experienced lash technician, I will recommend what is best suited to you.

Patch test for your lash lift in Kent

Patch tests are a necessary part of an LVL treatment and must be carried out every six months. They are done at my studio in Kent and take about 5 minutes. They must be carried out at least 48 hours before your LVL treatment.

Pre-lash lift treatment and aftercare advice

Pre-treatment care and aftercare is very important with lash lift treatments. I will always give written guidance on this. For reference, please see below.

Pre-lash treatment advice

24 hours prior to treatment

  • Do not wear water-proof mascara (and preferably no mascara at all)
  • Do not use oil-based eye makeup remover
  • If you have had a spray tan, ensure the guide colour is washed off

On the day of treatment

  • Do not wear mascara (eye makeup removal will incur an additional £5 charge)
  • Do not have a spray tan
  • Avoid applying oily products on your lashes or around your eyes
  • Contact lenses must be removed prior to the treatment – for this reason I recommend glasses are worn

Aftercare lash advice

  • For the first 24 hours after your lash lift treatment it’s important not to allow water to come in to contact with your lashes
  • For 48 hours do not steam your face, use a steam bath, swim or wash your face with hot water. Be careful when opening the oven/dishwasher too!
  • Do not use waterproof mascara
  • Use oil-free makeup remover if mascara is worn
  • Only use a water-based mascara (this can be purchased from the studio)
  • Don’t rub your eyes when washing your face and always pat the lashes dry gently after cleansing
  • Ensure lashes are not manipulated into different positions (e.g. when sleeping, cleansing the face, applying moisturiser or cosmetics)
  • Use a lash conditioning serum to keep lashes in the best possible condition (this can be purchased from the studio in Hastings)

My lashes have always been long, but completely straight and very blond at the ends, so without mascara it looks like I don’t have any. I couldn’t believe the difference after my lash lift. My lashes were beautifully lifted and separated and looked like I’d applied the most perfect coat of mascara. I literally wake up in the morning, wash my face and go, which is handy when you have small children! Thank you so much, Penny – see you next time!

My rural studio in Kent is the perfect place to unwind. There is plenty of free, off-road parking available. If you have any questions please get in touch.
